The text tool is used to insert text into the image.
To use the text tool select it by rotating the Scroll wheel until the icon is highlighted. To "paint" text to the canvas, press the spacebar.
To Enter Text:
To enter text, rotate the Scroll wheel until the icon is highlighted and press the wheel button. This will dispay the "Enter Text..." dialog.
Using the scroll wheel, highlight the text input area. When the text input area is highlighted, press the scroll wheel. You may now enter your text. When finished set it by pressing the scroll wheel.
To select a different Font :
Using the scroll wheel, highlight the "Font Name:" drop-down list. When the "Font Name:" drop-down list is highlighted, press the scroll wheel. This will display the list of available fonts. You can choose from existing brushes to modify by selecting and clicking the font's Name.
NOTE: Standard fonts will be drawn in the foreground color. Fonts that contain an outline will be drawn in the forground color with the outline drawn in the background color.
To set the text and continue:
Using the scroll wheel, highlight the "Done" button. When the "Done" button is highlighted, press the scroll wheel. Alternately you can press the back button.
To Cancel:
Using the scroll wheel, highlight the "Cancel" button. When the "Cancel" button is highlighted, press the scroll wheel.
