Sling Shark it now available! Color matching pirate vs. sharks puzzle Oh Pirate Pete is having a bad day. His crew has turned against him he was just barely able to survive the mutiny. Those scaliwags threw the cannons and powder kegs overboard leaving nothing to defend the ship with, and what is worse, they attracted a whole lot of sharks when they were all made to walk the plank. Now it is up to Pirate Pete to defend his ship from the endless waves of hungry sharks with nothing but old cannon balls and a length of rope. Leave it to Pete to make a slingshot and send all those foul beasts back to Davy Jones' locker. * Control Pirate Pete in puzzle mode or skill shot mode * Shoot matching colored sharks to make them disappear * Hit a powder keg for a huge explosion |
Use or to pull back the slingshot. Press to release the rope to shoot at the sharks. If you hit a shark it will swim away along with any connecting sharks of the same color. If you hit a shark in a group of same-colored sharks, all the touching sharks of the same color will swim away. Powder Kegs will float onto the screen from time to time, if you hit one it will explode, scaring away all nearby sharks. Every time the Jolly Roger flag reaches the bottom of the flagpole another wave of sharks will attack. If the sharks fill a horizontal row they will go into a feeding frenzy. If you cannot clear some of the sharks in that row before the Jolly Roger reaches the bottom the game will be over. You must shoot all the sharks on screen before the Jolly Roger flag reaches the bottom of the flagpole. If you don't clear the level in time you will lose a life. If you lose all of your lives the game is over. Chameleon Sharks These rare sharks rapidly change colors. If you time your shot just right you can use this shark to match touching sharks and build bigger combos. Powder Kegs Unfortunately your cannons and powder kegs were thrown overboard. Luckily for you the powder kegs will occasionally float back. If you hit it before it sinks you can scare off all of the nearby sharks. The powder keg shows you a countdown time after which it will sink. Arcade Mode In arcade mode you get 1 point for every shark hit. If you scare away multiple sharks at once you get a bonus multiplier equal to the number of sharks scared away. For example, if you scare 4 sharks off, you get 4 points and a 4x bonus modifier for a total of 16 points. Average Combo The average number of sharks scared off in a single shot. Max Combo Maximum number of sharks scared off in a single shot. Max Combo w/ Chameleon Shark Maximum number of sharks scared off in a single shot that includes a chameleon shark. Powder Kegs Hit Total number of powder kegs hit. Final Score Score at the end of the game. Skill Shot Mode In skill shot mode you get 1 point for every shark hit. Hit Percentage Percentage of successful hits based on total shots. Total Rounds Total number of rounds played in the game. Max Sharks Seen Maximum number of sharks seen in a round. Play Time Total time spent playing. Final Score Score at the end of the game. Number Of Sharks Hit Total number of sharks hit during the game. Use Sounds - When checked, uses in-game sounds. Use Vibration - When checked, uses in-game vibrations. |
